“April is Grilled Cheese Month” #10: Croatian Grilled Cheese

I recently reviewed this divine sheep’s milk cheese from the Island of Pag, which is part of Croatia: Award-winning  Gligora Paski Sir. It has become one of our favorite cheeses here at the manse. The Lady suggested we use it for one of our grilled cheese recipes and the following is what she designed for Day 10 of our “April is Grilled Cheese Month”:

Ingredients:

Golden Glen Creamery Farmstead Butter

Crusty Rustic Bread

Paski Sir

Dalmatian Ham (The Lady discovered this tasty ham when she visited Croatia in 1978.)

Dalmatian Fig Spread – either in the sandwich or on the side for dipping – we had it on the side.

Trivia: Did you know that the fig has more fiber than most commonly known fruits?
