The Lady and her Chef friend, Chris, traveled up Mt. Tabor a few months back to the Cheese Bar, Steve Jone’s cheese shop. They had sandwiches and beers and chatted with David Lockwood and Raef Hodgson from Neal’s Yard Dairy who were sampling three divine English cheeses. One of The Lady’s favorites that day was the Lincolnshire Poacher. Lucky for The Man and moi, she brought a wedge home for us to enjoy… She included the Poacher in the Royal Wedding Cheese Plate she created for Prince William and the soon-to-be Princess Kate. Asparagus is her favorite veggie and she decided to create her next grilled cheese using these two ingredients… and I must say, it’s another winning combination:
