“April is Grilled Cheese Month” #22: Rogue Creamery Oregonzola and Steak Grilled Cheese

OregonzolaBlue Cheese and beef go together like…well, like blue cheese and beef…so… we couldn’t let the month go by without designing a grilled cheese that featured two of The Man’s favorite foods. Rogue Creamery in Central Point, Oregon make award-winning blue cheeses and The Lady brought home a wedge of Oregonzola and a piece of flank steak which she sprinkled with salt, pepper and a little minced garlic. Then she grilled it a couple minutes on each side to keep it very rare. Then she sliced it very thin on the angle to make the slices nice and wide. Once served, The Man swooned and another successful grilled cheese was in the bank… so to speak:

Whole Grain Bread

Golden Glen Creamery Farmstead Butter

Rogue Creamery’s Oregonzola

Thinly sliced, rare flank steak
