Culture Magazine and Jasper Hill’s “Birth of a Cheese: 2012”

The Lady has been selected as one of the 2012 panelists by Culture Magazine and Jasper Hill Farm to taste a new Alpine-style Cheese that Jasper Hill has created. Yet again, I am out here doing all the “heavy lifting” and The Lady is getting all the cool stuff to do… humankinds sure have it easy… but I digress…

Over the next twelve months, she will taste and evaluate this new cheese as it matures. She will be writing about her thoughts and responses at and cross-posting her reports here. 

Even though I am thoroughly annoyed at who was chosen between the two of us, please come join her on this journey as she tastes a new cheese from the makers and agers of award-winning cheeses that include Harbison, Bayley Hazen Blue and Cabot Clothbound Cheddar

The first sample has been mailed and should arrive at The Manse by Friday… you know what that means… The Lady understands the concept of sharing… new cheese for me!!!
