Friskies Beef and Liver Dinner with Cheese – Tasty Treasures Classic Pate

As many of you know, my heart belongs to Cheese; then The Lady and while The Lady is away… The Man… but I don’t eat specialty cheese every day… and on those days I eat what I affectionately call Kitty Pate.

The Lady brought home a new one last week with cheese in its name and morsels of cheese mixed in with the pate… awwww… be still my heart…

Seemed only fair, this is a cheese website… I’m your favorite Feline Foodie… soooo… here are my thoughts…

The first signal that The lady or The Man is feeding me… other than when I make a total nuisance of myself advising them I am hungry… which happens more often than you would think is humankindly possible… is the sound of the pate can’s top popping. I rush to my dining room… what???… of course I have my own dining room… doesn’t every cat???

It matters not where I am, awake or napping, I can always hear the pop and you can bet your sweet patooty… I will be present and drooling before the first spoonful hits my bowl…

Next is the aroma that wafts through my whiskers and up my nostrils tickling my olfactory glands… normally the scent of beef, chicken or fish is what I detect but when The Lady opened this can, I knew I was in for something special… I smelled cheese… cheese, glorious cheese…

To express my appreciation… I rubbed The Lady’s leg while I patiently waited for her to fill my bowl… and then I dug in…

Disappointed??? Nope… never… although I occasionally enjoy a change of taste… Friskies remains my pate of choice and never lets me down… and now there is  cheese in several of their pates…

Can it get any better than this??? Perhaps the addition of Beecher’s No Woman to their line-up of Tasty Treasures offerings? Yep, that would be a practically perfect pate…

While waiting for Purina to hook-up with Beecher’s… I give Friskies Beef and Liver Dinner with Cheese 3 Paws out of 4 Paws (cause that’s all I’ve got).

Serving Suggestions: In your favorite bowl or if you’ve really got your humankind trained… on a nice 34 Degree Natural Cracker.

Beverage Pairing: Water.
