Bardstown Road… Get Ready to Rumble… Murray’s Arrives Today!!!

And… there’s cake today!!!

One more time I am left to report and not participate… I know I sound like a broken feline… but why do humankinds continue to prohibit entrance into their food establishments by “pets” and more specifically Moi???

Last week, while I was once more left behind to hang with The Man, The Lady traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to pre-open another Murray’s Cheese Shop, which opens today at 2440 Bardstown Road in the trendy Highlands neighborhood of Louisville.

You won’t be disappointed; there are more than 125 freshly cut and wrapped cheeses; freshly shredded and grated cheeses; three different fetas crumbled and sliced in the shop and four more blues crumbled on the premises… it doesn’t get any fresher than this unless you are there when they milk the cow, the ewe or the doe…

What sets Murray’s Shops apart from the competition is Customer Service, fresh product and you can try any cheese, cracker, jam, olive before you buy it – any product.

Kroger formed a partnership with Murray’s owner, Rob Kaufelt, to bring specialty cheese to all of America… one Kroger Store at a time. There are now more than sixty Murray’s Cheese Shops in Kroger stores in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Texas; King Soopers and City Markets in Colorado; QFC in Washington State and Fred Meyer Stores in Oregon. There will be more than thirty new shops opening in 2013…

While it is true The Lady works for Fred Meyer and Kroger assisting with the Murray’s partnership… she receives no compensation for any post we write about Murray’s… nada, zip, zero… we do it because she loves her job and wants other cheese lovers to head to their nearest Murray’s Shop for great cheese and even greater customer service…
