Yami Yogurt

yamiThe Lady, The Man and I have spent more than a little time in the Seattle area the last year… in fact, far more time than I care to remember… Being the homebody that I am, I prefer the comfort and familiar scents of The Manse in The Couve… but alas, when The Lady travels to Seattle, she drags The Man and me along. The Man goes willingly… I require dragging…

Now don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Seattle per se; I just hate that box The Lady stows me in and the unfamiliar smells that assault my sensitive nose when we arrive at our destination.

Normally we stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Sea-Tac, but the last two trips, we have bunked at the Red Lion Hotel in Bellevue, both pet-friendly hotels… at least that is their claim… I saw no evidence of friendliness extended my way… just saying… welcome gifts for The Lady and Butkus for The Cat…

It was at the Red Lion that The Lady discovered a new favorite yogurt, Yami Yogurt made locally by the Auburn Dairy. The buffet breakfast had several flavors and The Lady and The Man had it every morning for breakfast and brought it back to the room for an evening snack.

This yogurt is 100% Lactose-free, gluten-free and 100% dairy; full of calcium and Vitamins A and D – lots of good reasons to eat this healthy treat. Also, all the fruits and juices used are natural with no added sugar.

The yogurt is velvety and fruity stuffed with lots of those probiotics that are good for humankinds when enjoyed in moderation… according to The Lady, you can eat too much yogurt… just a few words of warning…

The Lady’s favorite  flavor is the peach, but she also has had the lime, blueberry and strawberry and liked them all. In fact she liked them so much that she discovered she can buy them in Vancouver at Chuck’s Produce, one of her favorite local stores.

The Lady gives Yami Yogurt 4 Paws (cause that’s all I’ve got) with the caveat to enjoy in moderation…
