The Man and I decided to celebrate the fourth season of Downton Abbey with a Cheese Board that reflects the opulence of the Masterpiece Theatre “Masterpiece”. We love Downton Abbey and we love cheese; a perfect combination:
We began with :
Murray’s Cheese Hudson Flower,
Vermont Butter and Cheese Fresh Goat Log and
Murray’s Fresh Mozzarella.
We served these with
Oregon Growers’ Wildflower Honey and
Strawberry Preserves.
Next we featured a Sartori Cheese Plate which included two of our favorite “Bellas”:
Espresso Bellavitano and
their cow and sheep blended milk Pastorale.
These three favorites we paired with grapes and Sahale’s Valdosta Pecans.
Our third plate featured
Murray’s Young Manchego,
Beecher’s Handmade Cheese Curds and
These we teamed up with
Unbound Cherries and walnuts.
Our finale plate featured
We paired this plate with Chocolate and
Sing Buri Chashews, also from Sahale Snacks.
We served Champagne and Prosecco with this board of favorites, along with sausage, salami, Grand Marnier Date Nut Bread and Urban Oven Crackers.
The Cheese Board was a 4 Paws hit!!! Wish you could have joined us for a perfect evening!!
