Emily Morgan Bio
Emily’s first job in the dairy world was as a “bovine beautician”, cow-clipper for a small dairy in Sonoma County. She continued as a ranch hand and milker throughout college at CSU Chico. An internship planning the 1st Good Food Awards turned Emily on to the wide world of artisan cheese where she landed a job with Cowgirl Creamery as a cheese-maker. She remained involved with the Good Food Awards as a member of the cheese committee, and was a co-founder of Eat Retreat, a creative retreat for food industry professionals.
She is now the Director of Sales & Marketing for Ancient Heritage Dairy in Portland, OR, and sits on the board for Alpha Zeta, a national collegiate honors agricultural organization.
