Cambozola Grand Noir, a regional pasteurized cow’s milk cheese made by Käserei Champignon, Lauben / Allgäu, Germany. Grand Noir is extremely creamy soft cheese that melts in the mouth instantly. It has a Sharp, Sweet flavor.

Champignon North America, Inc., the exclusive importer of Käserei Champignon cheeses, is pleased to announce that Grand Noir has taken Best of Class in the Blue veined cheese category at the World Championship Cheese Contest held in Madison, Wisconsin in March 2016. The secret to Grand Noir’s distinction is the quality of the milk and the careful affinage of the cheese. “Grand Noir is made using fresh milk from regional farms in southern Germany. Each wheel is hand-dipped in black wax and then cold-ripened.
