Continuing with spotlighting cheeses from some of Spaulding’s and my favorite cheesemakers, here are links to reviews of some of the cheeses created and crafted by Sid Cook, the most award-winning Cheesemaker in the world. Sid has won more than 500 awards worldwide including Best of Show at the American Cheese Society Conference in 2004 for Gran Canaria and 2008 for Snow White Goat Cheddar.

I first met the folks at Carr Valley on a Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board junket in 2010; interviewed Sid in early 2013 and then had the pleasure of meeting him in person in Madison at the 2013 ACS Conference.

Sid is a Master Cheesemaker, Certified through the Wisconsin CDR program. Many of his award-winning cheeses truly are American Originals.
