My laptop died a few weeks back and I learned quickly another “casualty” of the Chinese Virus crisis… most computers and/or parts are manufactured in China. That translate to a shortage/back order/”out of stock” issue to buy a new computer.
After a frustrating month of sheltering-in-place with Kindle tablets that don’t do everything a laptop will do (like updating this website), my new computer arrived this morning…
So far, so good, other than an issue with Norton downloading… I am now in queue for online chat – 51 minute wait… but now down to 19 minutes…
The Chinese virus is creating havoc everywhere, including our cheese industry. Artisan producers are especially being hard hit.
My heart breaks when I read about milk being poured down the drain; pigs being destroyed… the supply chain is screwed up…
