2020 Sucked But… We’ll Always Have Cheese…

I think we can all agree, 2020 sucked… So far, I’m not impressed with 2021… but we can hope…

2021 brings changes to my little cheese haven in NE Georgia. You can now find my hand-selected artisan cheeses at Sweet Combs of Honey in Downtown Lavonia.

Ladonna, owner of SCOH, and I have lots of wine and cheese events planned for 2021 starting Monday, January 18th. Our monthly Excellent Wine and Cheese Adventure will feature three cheeses paired with two wines. For social distancing, seats are limited and reservations are necessary. Call SCOH at 706 356 2398 to reserve your seat. $40 per person.

Our monthly Excellent Wine and Cheese Adventure will continue throughout the year on the third Monday of each month with new cheeses and wines featured each month.

Coming soon:

Friday, February 12th – Cheese, Chocolate and Bubbly at Sweet Combs of Honey – 6 to 8pm $35 per person.

Wine and Cheese Subscription Boxes featuring perfectly paired wines and cheeses available each month.

Grazing boxes and platters for every occasion beginning with February’s “Brie My Valentine” – a grazing box featuring a small round of French Brie, Strawberry Preserves, Chocolate and other Valentine-themed specialty foods. Add a bottle of Prosecco and surprise your favorite Valentine. If you want to add extra romance, check out the Fantasy Boxes created by my niece, Mariah.

The Man, aka Peter M. Wright, has written his first novel: Gold Fever, available at amazon.com as a kindle book for only $2.99.

Written in the flavor of one of our favorite movies, Romancing the StoneGold Fever is a romantic adventure that brings together an archeologist looking to establish his name in his field and a rock star on the verge of burn-out.

In GOLD FEVER  an Archeologist motivated by a newly discovered clue, searches for a fabled Native American Legend – the long ago lost Seven Golden Cities of Cibola. While the Archeologist seeks to prove the legend is actually true, he is constantly under attack by a second group seeking the treasure for themselves.

The action is set in New York City, the Zuni pueblo, and the deserts of the west, which include The Valley of the Hot Waters in New Mexico, The Four Corners area, and Monument Valley.
I have created a Facebook page for Gold Fever and hope you will take a moment to “Like” the page.
After you purchase the book and enjoy it, please leave a review… placement on amazon is dictated by numbers…
thanks…
