Grilled Sammies with Face Rock Cheddars and Kelly’s Jellies

Those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram, know that I have become obsessed with baking yeast breads, particularly sourdough. Last night I made mini-grilled sammies to accompany a beef stew I had prepared for The Man… The Man laughs about having his own “personal chef”… good thing I enjoy cooking as much as he enjoys eating…

Starting Monday, here on the website**, we will launch a Rafflecopter.com managed giveaway of Face Rock Creamery cheddars and Kelly’s Jelly selection to celebrate Face Rock Creamery’s debut here in the South Atlantic States at Harris Teeter. Be sure you visit this website on Monday, March 28th** to enter the giveaway which you will be able to enter daily through April 4th to increase your chances to win this terrific selection of Oregon specialty foods.

Using my from-scratch starter sourdough, I created three grilled sammies which The Man and I shared… sometimes, The Man hates to share… this was one of those times…:

  • Face Rock Extra Aged Cheddar with Kelly’s Habanero Pepper Jelly
  • Face Rock In Your Face with Kelly’s Cheer Rhubarb
  • Face Rock Vampire Slayer with Kelly’s Habanero Pepper Jelly

The Man swooned…

**Be sure to visit this website Monday, March 28th, to enter our Face Rock Creamery and Kelly’s Jelly Giveaway.  There will be multiple ways to enter the giveaway, including friend referrals and daily entries, to increase your chances of winning a selection of Face Rock and Kelly’s Jellies. My friend and Cheese Colleague, Babs Hogan aka The Healthy Cheese Lady has created her first “Cheesy” T-Shirt in a new line of clothing. The T-Shirt is only $20 and you can order it here. I will have a Q&A with Babs later this week for her launch. Everyone needs this T-Shirt because it’s true: “Cheese Makes Me Happy”.
